The ideal Digital Marketing Associate candidate is a data-driven, strategic thinker with an interest in understanding the analytics behind digital marketing tactics. Applicants must be current college freshmen, sophomores or juniors with the ability to work 15+ hours a week. This is not just a summer internship, but instead, a year-round paid internship opportunity.

You will work alongside our team of marketing strategists to execute essential tasks in our clients’ strategic plans and report on overall marketing performance and KPIs. Daily duties include compiling and interpreting data, identifying link-building and online-growth opportunities for our clients and performing content outreach.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for clients
  • Identify data-backed optimization opportunities for client marketing strategies
  • Assist the strategy department with client deliverables - such as monthly reporting, keyword research, link-building outreach and overall business development strategies
  • Monitor and document results of client marketing strategies
  • Identify opportunities to make your work more impactful or processes more efficient
  • On occasion, assist with one-off agency tasks


  • Ability to understand our clients' industrial, B2B businesses
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail for client-facing work
  • Strong, persuasive writing skills
  • Desire to learn more about digital marketing in the B2B industrial space
  • Must be current college freshmen, sophomore or junior looking for a place to call home until graduation
  • Interest in business and/or marketing with a strong, relevant academic background
  • Availability to work from our St. Louis, MO office for 15+ hours per week

What will help you stand out

  • Previous experience measuring and reporting on KPIs
  • Previous experience with content marketing
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics (SEO, PPC, email outreach, etc.) and/or tools (Google Data Studio, HubSpot, WordPress)
  • Examples of work entailing strategic and analytical thinking from a previous internship or educational project
