This position focuses on leading marketing strategy for new and existing clients. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, has deep expertise in B2B paid social demand generation and a well-rounded marketing background. The selected candidate will work directly with CEOs, owners and marketing/sales leaders at mid-market manufacturing companies. He or she will serve as their marketing consultant, will guide strategy and will work with our team to execute. We are considering both remote and local (St. Louis) candidates.


Tasks and responsibilities


  • Develop a deep understanding of our clients' businesses, the products they sell and their customers
  • Lead clients' demand generation, assisting with the development of our in-house processes to make our demand generation services repeatable and scalable

  • Analyze marketing performance, report on results and make recommendations for change so clients’ marketing dollars are optimally invested

  • Drive the content strategy (written, audio, video) and see it through to execution, working closely with our internal content team

  • Help advance our service offering in order to provide maximum value for our clients

  • Support new business by leading discovery workshops and marketing strategy discussions with client leadership
  • Whatever else is needed to make Gorilla and our team stronger


Requirements


  • Strategic thinker who can confidently speak to our clients’ leadership teams, ask the right questions to understand their businesses and guide them to success

  • Proven skills with paid ad platforms (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads)

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to read data and make deductions and adjustments based on findings

  • Exceptional understanding of content marketing and experience creating content

  • Preferably has led a marketing program in-house

  • Constant learner
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, writing and communications skills


What will make you stand out


  • 5+ years of digital marketing, SEO or content marketing experience
  • Experience leading a marketing program "in-house" at a B2B business
  • HubSpot and Salesforce experience a plus
