This position focuses on building and owning client relationships, running both internal and external meetings, communicating regularly with clients, and serving as a strategy influencer. Our hire MUST be available to work from our St. Louis office.

Tasks and responsibilities

Build and own client relationships

  • Serve as the front-line liaison between Gorilla and client

  • Develop client relationships by building a personal connection through face-to-face meetings, phone calls and email communication

  • Conduct client status meetings with client
  • Actively seek out opportunities to help our clients grow their business

  • Proactively create and maintain exceptional client experiences
  • Retain clients and avoid client churn

Run meetings

  • Prepare meeting agendas

  • Run effective client meetings

  • Record, organize and distribute meeting summaries to the Gorilla team

  • Communicate required next steps to the Project Manager and work with the Project Manager to determine project and milestone due dates

  • Communicate next steps and timelines to clients

  • Ensure all projects stay within the estimated scope by tracking project budget

Manage the client’s role in delivery of service

  • Communicate client responsibilities to client
  • Manage client accountability in delivering on those responsibilities 

Day-to-day management of accounts

  • Keep projects moving and team members on track
  • Guide the team in effectively resolving client issues
  • Work closely with our project management team to scope projects, track time and deliver on targeted hourly rates
  • Sync with other account team members to assist the team in prioritizing client projects
  • Assist the project management team in forecasting workloads for capacity planning

Serve as strategy influencer

  • Learn our clients’ businesses better than anyone at Gorilla

  • Seek out insider knowledge about our clients’ companies, the problems they face and the problems their customers face that will influence our Marketing Strategists’ plans and ultimately lead to better results
  • Whatever else is needed to make Gorilla and our team stronger
