This position focuses on managing the agency by creating timelines, optimizing the capacity of individual Gorilla team members and monitoring/budgeting time across Gorilla. Our hire must be available to work from our St. Louis office and should have previous agency experience.

Tasks and responsibilities


  • Develop overarching client project timelines and individual milestones within those projects by collaborating with Account Coordinators and Strategists
  • Monitor progress against critical dates and milestones, and make adjustments to keep the projects on track for on-time delivery
  • Communicate with Account Coordinators to keep a pulse on the status of tasks, milestones and projects

Utilization of Gorilla personnel

  • Balance the allocation of each individual’s time across clients and projects
  • Optimize the capacity of individual Gorilla team members
  • Help identify when external resources will be needed to complete projects
  • Measure and manage project management tools' effective in all processes
  • Enable project management tools to accurately forecast team member capacity

Time budgeting and monitoring

  • Own the responsibility of accurate time tracking by all agency staff
  • Prepare time estimates for departmental components of client deliverables
  • Monitor weekly and report monthly on budget versus time spent by each team member in all clients and tasks
  • Identify positive and negative trends in allocation to time to specific tasks, projects and clients
  • Continue to improve time budgeting models for common projects and tasks to influence future planning
  • Whatever else is needed to make Gorilla and our team stronger

  • Availability to work from our St. Louis office
